Service of Statutory Notices

Entry to and acquisition of land can be undertaken by negotiation, or in many cases, by the service of a relevant Notice issued under an appropriate Act of Parliament.

Services of Notices within the correct and relevant time frame is crucial to avoid delays and costs arising from access denial and subsequent ransom situations.

• Collation of information showing affected parties and their specific interest in the land affected.
• Confirmation of land ownership with Land Registry, tenants and licensees.
• Liaison with respective legal departments to confirm and serve statutory notices where appropriate.
• Production of schedules of names and addresses of affected parties, their agents and legal representatives produced both as a tabular and geographical database.
