Compulsory Purchase & Compensation
Our infrastructures team is highly experienced in dealing with all
matters relating to compulsory purchase and the rights of access for utility or
construction companies. All our Surveyors have acted for both the Public
Sector and affected landowners giving us a particularly strong and
balanced understanding of the constraints and opportunities arising in the
implementation of these type of schemes.
When a scheme is contemplated, there is an initial need for Route Planning and
Public Relations. As this process moves forward, Referencing services are used
to identify all affected parties for both, future liaison and negotiations or
the service of Statutory Notices where needed.
Information is drawn together on Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
designed to meet the individual client's needs, and can be provided in various
formats from traditional plans, CAD derived drawings to CD and other electronic
formats such as web based 'Sharepoint Portals'.
The strength of our delivery is in our ability to recognise the required skills
to deliver a scheme and then to assemble the appropriate professionals in a
cross disciplinary team of Surveyors, Engineers and Solicitors to ensure schemes
are implemented and managed with clarity from feasibility though closure.
